ANALYTICAL CYBERBIOINTELLIGENCE FRAMEWORKS:

Adaptive Insight's cyberbiointelligence practice is supported by three proprietary analytical frameworks, addressing a gap in existing security methodology: the absence of a structured intelligence discipline designed specifically for threats at the convergence of cyber and biological systems. The frameworks are not consulting tools repurposed from other domains — they are built from the ground up for this threat environment, incorporating complexity science, network analysis, military intelligence doctrine, and the biological domain analytical literature.

ICIF — Integrated Cyberbio-Intelligence Framework

DSTM-N — Dynamic Strategic Threat Modeling with Network Analysis

CAFC — Convergent Analysis Framework for Cyberbiosecurity

The ICIF is the intelligence cycle adapted for environments where digital systems control biological processes. It operates across three phases: Intelligence Requirements and Planning (establishing validated intelligence requirements through systematic stakeholder engagement), Intelligence Strategy Development (designing the collection architecture and analytical frameworks that address those requirements), and Implementation and Adaptation (operationalizing the intelligence function and maintaining continuous refinement through embedded feedback loops). ICIF structures collection and analysis across five intelligence streams — Organizational and Cultural Intelligence, OSINT, GEOINT, Cyber Intelligence, and Biological Intelligence — through three operational phases. The Organizational and Cultural Intelligence stream, ICIF's most distinctive component, operates at the cultural precondition stage through authorized engagement with the client organization. This is the developmental stage that precedes technical detectability — where exploitable conditions are forming and where conventional security monitoring has nothing to observe.

DSTM-N — Dynamic Strategic Threat Modeling with Network Analysis

CAFC — Convergent Analysis Framework for Cyberbiosecurity

The CAFC provides the analytical structure for assessing convergent threats — threats that exist at the interface of cyber and biological systems and that cannot be fully assessed by either domain's conventional analytical tools alone. It is a multi-component framework designed to produce a complete threat picture, moving systematically from the threat landscape through risk convergence, consequence modeling, actor profiling, and organizational context. The CAFC is explicitly designed to capture what domain-siloed assessments miss: the convergence layer where cyber compromise produces biological consequences and biological vulnerabilities create cyber attack surfaces.

DSTM-N — Dynamic Strategic Threat Modeling with Network Analysis

The DSTM-N is the analytical engine that powers both ICIF and CAFC. It is not a standalone framework but rather the computational and modeling architecture underlying both. Its five components — Attack Trees, System Dynamics, Agent-Based Modeling, Game Theory, and Network Analysis — provide the quantitative and structural rigor that distinguishes Adaptive Insight's threat modeling from qualitative consulting assessment.

Adaptive Insight's CBI practice is supported by three proprietary analytical frameworks developed and held as intellectual property by an affiliated holding company.

TThe ICIF, CAFC, and DSTM-N frameworks are the intellectual property of St. James Global Holding, LLC, and are licensed exclusively to Adaptive Insight for operational delivery. Framework descriptions on this page reflect conceptual architecture. Detailed methodology is available through formal contracting engagement or research collaboration.
